FoRR is excited to support our friends at Save Our Saluda during their 2026 Upper Saluda Streambank Stabilization Workshop. Register by April 13 to learn about riparian buffers, bank stabilization, and invasive species management for homeowners, stewards, and more. FoRR will be there ready to chat and answer your questions related to our work with an educational table. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn and connect with others around the common thread of riverbank restoration. We hope to see you there! Details below:
Join Save Our Saluda and Clemson Extension for the 2026 Upper Saluda Streambank Stabilization Workshop on Tuesday, April 28th!
Save Our Saluda and Clemson Extension are excited to announce the 2026 Streambank Stabilization Workshop on Tuesday, April 28th at the Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center. The workshop will include an indoor morning speaker session with topics including streambank repair, riparian buffers, restoration success stories in the Upper Saluda Watershed, exotic invasive species control, stream stewardship for homeowners, and more. Partner organizations will have display tables providing information on local programs, available technical and financial support, volunteer opportunities, and other resources. Lunch is included with registration and will be followed by an afternoon field trip to a recently completed streambank stabilization project on the North Saluda River near Marietta. Space is limited!
